At the start of May this year we were delighted to attend the China Motor Show just outside Bejing, our attendance was to help launch the Royal Alloy Brand into mainland China.
A staggering number of scooters are sold in China every year and this number is set to increase substantially as the buying public gets a taste for the ‘European’ style retro scene currently in full bloom here at home, with a strong scooter scene already taking it’s place in the increasingly Western influenced culture, Royal Alloy was among the most popular exhibitors at this huge event with a visitor count in the hundreds of thousands.
Interestingly the new Euro 4 type approval models will be sold into China as opposed to older technology showing that quality is appreciated & valued wherever you go these days although some cost savings will be made with the GT headlight being used instead of the LED GP version among other small variations.
What we did see at the show is a truly global appetite for Royal Alloy with many overseas visitors and interested parties not only visiting the stand but many experienced 2 wheeled distribution companies knocking on the door. This is all good news as increased sales volume will feedback to the development and advancement of future models.
